Shop for top brand e-liquid by the ratio amount of PG or VG in the flavour. Here's a quick overview to help explain PG e-liquid and VG e-liquid blends:
60-70% PG E-Liquid - These PG blends are also known as 'high PG' and in addition to the PG fluid they also contain 30% VG. High PG is usually ideal for standard vape coils with an electrical resistance of somewhere between 1.2Ω to 2.5Ω (this number is often written on the coil in small writing). They often work well down to 1.0Ω but performance will depend on your coil. There is less vapour with PG e-liquids but often more flavour.
50% VG E-Liquid - These VG blends also contain 50% PG and are designed for standard vape coils with a resistance of 1.0Ω through to 1.8Ω, as a guide. Many 50% VG e-liquid blends also work well with sub-Ohm coils (less than 1.0Ω), but performance will depend on your coil. This juice blend will usually provide a medium amount of vapour but potentially less flavour if you're not able to vary the power output on your device, ie less flavour if the liquid doesn't get hot enough.
70% VG E-Liquid - This blend is usually best suited to sub-Ohm heating coils (sub-Ohm means less than 1.0Ω) and a device with variable power. This is because you will probably need to adjust the output to achieve optimum flavour. Higher VG e-liquid blends are thicker and produce a lot more vapour cloud.
